PRE-EVACUATION NOTICE - WILLOW FIRE NEARBY
This is Lake County Emergency Services with an Emergent Message. Today is July 5, 2026.
THE WILLOW FIRE IS IMPACTING the area of Village of Twin Lakes, Hwy 82 west to the summit of Independence Pass, Mount Elbert Forebay Reservoir, Pan-Ark Subdivision, EE Hill, Hwy 24 from mile 186 to mile 182, CR 136, CR 10, FS Road 130, CR 24 D, CR 11 A, CR 136, Hwy 24from mile 182 to mile 180, valley Rd, Loop Rd, Crystal Ridge Rd, CR 44, CR 45, and CR 46.
You are NOT required to evacuate now, but conditions may change quickly.
Do NOW:
1. Pack Essentials (meds, IDs, chargers), secure pets/livestock
2. Fuel vehicles, keep keys/wallet ready
3. Prepare your home (close windows/doors, move flammables away)
